Arthur S. Aubry (1960 - 2015) was a prominent local photographer who made work in and around the Pacific Northwest. His color photographs are both expressions of abstraction and documents of a transformed reality. With a keen eye for detail, Aubry spent many years photographing the structures and networks of the Hanford Nuclear Reservation near Richland, WA.
Aubry's work is represented in many institutional collections including the Henry Art Museum, Seattle, WA; King Co. Public Art Collection, Kent, WA; Microsoft, Redmond, WA; Oberlin College, Oberlin, OH; SAFECO, Seattle, WA; Seattle Art Museum; and Seattle Arts Commission. His work has been exhibited in numberous galleries including Howard House, Seattle, WA; Glitterman Gallery, New York City, NY; Esther Claypool Gallery, Seattle, WA; SAM Rental Gallery, Seattle, WA; and PCNW.
